Prof. Kamala Subramaniam, who retired as Professor of Economics, has done her M.A. (Maths), M.A. (Economics), and Ph.D. in Economics at Osmania University. She has had more than 20 years of teaching and research experience in Economics. Her areas of specialisation are Capital Theory, Theory of Growth, and Economics of Development. She has a few papers published on Capital theory to her credit. She has published two books earlier - the first being Capital Theory and Economic Analysis, and the second − Macro theories of Value and Distribution, written jointly with Prabha Panth.
