Dr. Rangappa K.B. is a passionate teacher and a scientific researcher who has been serving the academia for the past three decades. He has served in various academic and administrative capacities in University of Agricultural Sciences, Kuvempu University and Davangere University. In the state of Karnataka, particularly among State Universities, he is held in high esteem for his specialisation in the field of agricultural economics and econometrics. Having published several books and papers in national and international journals, pertaining to agriculture, finance, human capital formation and economy, he has a genuine passion for pursuing research of contemporary nature and relevance. The methodological underpinning of the current work is a testimony to his understanding and application of econometric tools.
