Dr. Suhas P. Gawali did his M.Sc and the Doctorate in Botany from the Nagpur University, Nagpur (Maharashtra). After an illustrious career as Degree College teacher for 37 years retired as Head of Dept. of Botany, St. Francis De` Sales College, Nagpur.    Has vast teaching experience at Degree level (1965 - 2010) as well as at the plus 2 level (1975 - 2010). Has been coaching students in Botany for the Medical Entrance Examinations at the All India Level as well as at the State Level since 1978. Has authored for HPH one of the most sought-after series of Biology Text Books at the Maharashtra State plus 2 level since 1983. Also authored series of several Biology books for Medical Entrance Examinations at the State level as well as the All India Level since 1995.
