A Textbook on Mathematical Methods

Dr. P. Vijayalaxmi (b. 1972) M.Sc. (Mathematics), Indian Institute of Technology,Kharagpur and Ph.D. (Queuing Theory), Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and at present with Department of Mathematics, Andhra University, Visakapatnam. She has been teaching to M.Sc, Mathematics students and guiding Ph.D., students in the area of Queuing Theory. Dr. Vijayalaxmi has several research publications in the  Journals of National and International repute in the areas of Queuing, Reliability and Operations Research.

Dr. V. Ravindranath (b. 1962) M.Sc. (Mathematics), Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and Ph.D.  (Mathematical Statistics), Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and at present Professor and Head, Department of Mathematics, JNTU College of Engineering, Kakinada. He has more than 20 years of experience teaching to B.Tech, M.Tech, M.C.A. and M.B.A. students and guiding Ph.D. and M.Phil, students. He is a member of Board of Studies in Mathematics for JNT University, and for P.R. Govt. College (Autonomous), of Andhra University. He is also member of governing bodies of JNTU College of Engineering, Kakinada, Gudlavalleru College of Engineering, Gudlavalleru, Krishna Dist. and a Life member of Indian Society of Technical Education. Prof. Ravindranath has several research publications in the Journals of National and International repute in the areas of Reliability, Urbanization, Image Processing and Data Mining.
