Ms. Benzia De Souza, MBA (Marketing and Finance), IATA/UFTAA Foundation in Travel and Tourism, is Assistant Professor in the Department of Tourism Studies. She holds a First Class MBA degree in Marketing and Finance. She has over two years of corporate experience having worked with Ipsos Business Consulting and RBSA Advisors and four years of teaching experience.

Mrs. Cheryl Poornima Smith – Venan Dias, M.Phil. (first class) from Bharathiar University, with first class MBA in Human Resource Management from Pondicherry University, UGC NET qualified in HRM, Personal Management, Industrial Relations and Labour Laws. Holds an international diploma as an instructor for both IATA Foundation in Travel and Tourism (DTTF), and IATA Travel and Tourism Consultant (DTTC) courses from ITDI Canada, Montreal. Currently pursuing Ph.D. in Human Resource Management and Tourism with Research and Development Center, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. She has six years of teaching experience at Post Graduate Level, as a HOD of Department of Tourism Studies, for Masters of Tourism and Travel Management (MTTM) Programme, M.A. (Tourism and Heritage Management) Programme, and IATA Classroom Courses at S.S. Dempo College of Commerce and Economics, Goa. She has presented papers in thirteen international conferences, two national conferences and published in eight peer reviewed journals. Also she has contributed a chapter titled "Talent Development in the Tourism Industry: A Deliberation on the Open Source Talent in Goa" published in the book Evolving Paradigms in Tourism and Hospitality in Developing Countries: A Case Study of India, by Apple Academic Press and CRC Press T&F Group. She also has a corporate experience of twelve years and worked with reputed travel and tourism organisations such as Czech Airline, Qatar Airways, Thomas Cook, Siemens, TRX, and TATA Interactive Systems. She has set up the IATA Authorised Training Center at S.S Dempo College. President of an NGO called Eco-Kshatriya Foundation. Her subjects of interest are research on Tourism Policies, Sustainable Tourism, Tourism Experiences, Innovative Pedagogies, Quality Management and Talent Development.

Mrs. Derina D. Rodrigues has contributed a chapter on CSR Activities in the Tourism Industry. She is an Associate Professor at the Department of Commerce in S.S. Dempo College of Commerce and Economics, Cujira and teaches Company Law, She is keenly interested in the study of Corporate Social Responsibility.

Mrs. Shilpa Tripathi is Assistant Professor in Computer Applications at the Department of Information Technology, at S.S. Dempo College of Commerce and Economics, Cujira, Goa, where she has been teaching for nine years. Her areas of interest and work include Information Technology Policy, Cyber Security and Information Technology Applications in Business. She earlier taught at the Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi. She conducted courses related to Information Technology as part of their professional development programmes like Post-Graduate Professional Programme in Information Technology and Management, Advanced Professional Programme in Public Administration and Computerization in Urban Local Bodies. She holds a Masters in Computer Applications from IGNOU, New Delhi. She also is an M.Com. rank holder from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. As part of her professional experience, she has attended a large number of courses and training programmes relating to Open Source Software Development and PHP/MY SQL, MOOCS courses offered through SWAYAM, Data Science and Management of Data, MOODLE, Cyber Security, and Flipped Learning. Some of her major publications and popular articles include the areas of Digital India Initiative, Role of Information Technology in Promoting Interdisciplinarity, IT Amendment Act 2008, HCI and Digital Divide in India.
