As we all know that NEP-2020 is implemented from June 2024 to all the higher education institutions. Its gives immense pleasure to Authors to write book on Basic Statistical Tools in Chemistry for F.Y.B.Sc. class under vertical Skill Enhancement Course (SEC) in chemistry as per syllabus framed by University of Mumbai with perspectives of NEP-2020. The main motto of Authors is to provide knowledge of statistical chemistry to learners to gain skills in data analysis. The information about different types of data and analysis of data obtained from experiment in chemistry laboratory which has been illustrated with different examples.

Proficiency in utilizing various measures of precision and accuracy to analyse and interpret data is also discussed at preliminary level. The skills in assessing data dispersion and variability through the application of statistical measures is also explained with examples.
