C# and Dot Net Framework (Sem 3, BCA Karnataka Univ)

This textbook is designed as per the NEP syllabus of Tumkur University for Third Semester BCA. The book is also useful for MCA, Diploma students. This book covers programming concepts with appropriate examples in very effortless and straightforward approach for the beginners.

The book comprises of 5 units.

Unit-1 covers basic concepts of Dot Net Framework, Dot Net Technologies and Components of .NET Framework.
Unit-2 covers Introduction to C# programming, operators, expressions, control structures—Sequence, branching, looping and jump statements. Arrays and functions.
Unit-3 covers OOPs concepts—Class, object, function overriding, inheritance types, exception handling and multithreading.
Unit-4 covers C# GUI interfaces—Visual Studio GUI, Windows forms, Events and forms elements.
Unit-5 covers Data Access with ADO.NET—Architecture, Creating Connection, Command and Execute Queries, Provider-ODBC and Data Adapter.
