Master in Computer Application (MCA) is a professional programme offered by various colleges and universities across India to meet the workforce required by IT industries and different organizations with a skilled human resource for the development and management of computer resources along with security. Therefore, only candidates with good knowledge are selected through the entrance exam for admission to MCA. At present, in India, different examinations are being conducted for MCA entrance by various affiliating bodies. In West Bengal, a Joint Entrance Exam for Computer Application (JECA) is conducted by the prestigious WBJEEB for entrance to MCA in colleges and Universities. Till 2021, the syllabus of the following examination was primarily based on Aptitude and Mathematics. However, the syllabus of the JECA exam has been modified by the WBJEEB with effect from the year 2022. Therefore, this book has been designed lucidly to help the aspirants prepare for JECA. The contents of the book have been divided into ten chapters as per the latest syllabi of the entrance examination. Each chapter in the book contains the basic understanding of the chapter followed by an ample number of solved and unsolved practice exercises to help aspirants revise the concepts discussed in each chapter.
