The academic reforms recommended by the UGC in the recent past have led to overall improvement in the higher education system. The Choice Based Credit System provides a ‘cafeteria’ approach in which students can pick courses of their choice, learn at their own pace, take up additional courses and acquire more than the required credits. The new system helps students develop critical thinking as well as analytical ability, and makes them job-ready.
The study material has been prepared to address the English language needs of students, as to meet a variety of real-life situations.
