This book “Marine Biotechnology” is prepared according to the new syllabus prescribed by the University of Mumbai for T.Y.B.Sc., Biotechnology course, Semester V. As a teacher, I find that though there are many books in the market but their language and presentation isn’t many a times student-friendly. The aim of writing this book is to give an understanding of the topic in such a way so as to make it easier for students to present the information in the examination. The explanation of the subject matter has been enhanced with photographs, flowsheets and tables.
