Sino-Us Relations (1972-1988) Retrospects and Prospects

The PRC and the USA are two great power centres of the world. The relations between the two countries are fo immense significance in international relations. In this book the author has attempted to analyse comprehensively and critically the chain of developments between the two countries from 1972 to 1988. A critical analysis of the developments since then has also been made. The author is inclined to argue that it was the strategic factor(essentially the Soviet threat) which brought them together. Moreover, an attempt has also been made to project heruistically the future prospects of Sino-U.S.relations.
