He earned his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad, M.Pharm. from K.M. College of Pharmacy, Madurai, affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, and B.Pharm. from S.B. College of Pharmacy, Sivakasi.
