Dr. M.S.Talawar is presently working as a Professor in Education and Director -UGC-Academic Staff College, Bangalore University, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. He has 31 years of teaching experience in the field of education. He has published 12 books and 25 articles in the National Journals, presented 45 Thematic and Research Papers in National and International Conferences and has organized 14 different National level Programmes. Guided 100 M.Ed. dissertation students, 22 M.Phil. Students, 12 Ph.D. Scholars. He visited Philippines Under UGC Sponsored Cultural Exchange Programme to Undertake a Research on "A Comparative Study of Elementary Teacher Training Programme in India and Philippines", during 1997.
