Dr. M.S. Talwar

Dr. M.S.Talawar is presently working as a Professor in Education and Director -UGC-Academic Staff College, Bangalore University, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. He has 31 years of teaching experience in the field of education. He has published 12 books and 25 articles in the National Journals, presented 45 Thematic and Research Papers in National and International Conferences and has organized 14 different National level Programmes. Guided 100 M.Ed. dissertation students, 22 M.Phil. Students, 12 Ph.D. Scholars. He visited Philippines Under UGC Sponsored Cultural Exchange Programme to Undertake a Research on "A Comparative Study of Elementary Teacher Training Programme in India and Philippines", during 1997. He has handled the post with prestigious bodies like Chairman NAAC Peer Committee to Kambhat (Gujarat) and Member NAAC Peer Committee to Satara (Maharashtra), Member Regional Committee to Central Board for Workers Education (Bangalore Unit) Ministery of Labour and Employment, Govt. of India, Member UGC Expert Committee to Review progress of X plan and XI plan proposal to Punjabi University, Patilaya 2008, Member UGC Expert Committee to Review Progress of X plan and XI plan proposal to Periyar University, Salem -25-27 Nov. 2008, Expert Member of Visiting Committee NCTE SRC Bangalore.
