Dr. Prajakta Nande is in the field of teaching since last 13 years and has extensive experience of teaching Food Science and Nutrition at post graduate level (Department of Home Science, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur, Maharashtra). She received her Ph. D. in 2000 from Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University in the area of Sports Nutrition with her doctoral work on energy balance studies among adolescent girls undergoing sports training. She received gold medals, awards and prizes for obtaining highest percentage of marks and for securing first position in merit list in B. Sc. And M. Sc. She is also guiding M. Sc., M. Phil. And Ph. D. research work. Number of research papers has been presented nationally and internationally. She is a life member of Nutrition Society of India, Indian Dietetic Association and Home Science Association of India.
