Biography
K.B. Gotpagar
Mr. K.B. Gotpagar is currently on the faculty in the Department of Public Health and Mortality Studies at the International Institute for Population Sciences. He holds a Master’s Degree in Statistics of the Poona University, and has also undergone one year training in Certificate Course in Population Studies from the International Institute for Population Sciences, Bombay. He was awarded a fellowship by World Health Organization (WHO) to study “Advanced Health Statistical Methodology and Information System development” at the University of Pennsylvania, U.S.A. He has published several research articles in various aspects of population studies, and is also involved in various capacities in some research projects such as Fertility and Family Planning Surveys and in migration project in Greater Bombay. His research interest in mainly I the field of technical fertility and mortality and also in the field of migration.
