Dr. Satyendra Deka is currently working as a Professor and Principal of Pratiksha Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Guwahati, Assam. He received his B.Pharm and M.Pharm from PES College of Pharmacy, Bengaluru, and completed his Ph.D. from Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences, Guwahati, Assam. He was awarded gold medal for securing 10th rank of university and was the topper of the Department during his M.Pharm course. He has 18 research publications and 14 review publications in national and international journals, one German patent and one South African patent in his credit. He has been teaching medicinal chemistry and performing research work on natural products since the last fifteen years.
