This book is written primarily with the students of communication and mass communication in view. It is expected that the style, form and content will be a source of help for students of both graduate and undergraduate studies and those in professional colleges and independent scholars. Of late Indian universities have included journalism as a core subject in their courses for commerce and business management, and communication and mass communication is a part of the syllabus. In the opinion of the author this is a field which is not already well served by such textbooks.
