We are glad to place in hands of our students the book of “Computer Architecture”. This book is written as per the National Education Policy 2020 (effective from 2021-2022) for Four Year Undergraduate Programmes BCA.
Through this book, our goal has been to describe the basic principles underlying what will be tomrrows technological developments. Our primary objective in writing this book was to change the way people learn and think about computer architecture. We feel this goal is still valid and important. The field is changing daily and must be studied with real examples and measurements on real computers, rather than simply as a collection of definitions and designs that will never need to be realized.
The syllabus has been designed to provide students with a diverse set of talents, ambitions, and professional goals. The suggested curricular framework aims to empower students by assisting them in their quest for total excellence. The book material is organised in four units. All aspects of the syllabus are covered to the required depth.
