Crime Reporting (Sem 6, BAMMC, Mumbai Univ)

Asst Prof. Kshamata Prabhakar Chavan is NET qualified in Mass Communication and Journalism. She did M.A. (MCJ) from K.C. College, Churchgate (now affiliated to University of HSNC). She has been teaching to BAMMC students from past three years. At present, she is Full-time Lecturer at KLE SOCIETY’S SCIENCE AND COMMERCE COLLEGE, KALAMBOLI (Navi Mumbai).
She was a content/copy writer and has contributed her creative writing skills to many websites and social media handles.

Pramod Arjun Gaikwad did NET and M.Phil. in Mass Communication and Journalism from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. He has been teaching BAMMC students of many suburban colleges in Mumbai for 14 years. At present, he is working at KLE SOCIETY’S SCIENCE AND COMMERCE COLLEGE, KALAMBOLI (Navi Mumbai). He authored a textbook on Television Journalism for T.Y.BAMMC, Semester VI published by Himalaya Publishing House Pvt. Ltd. However, he has also written 7 books in Marathi which were the collections of published articles, poems, reviews, short stories and scripts for documentary and short films. He has also worked in ETV Marathi (now Colors Marathi), an entertainment TV channel as Assistant Executive Producer. He was Reporter and Sub-editor in daily Lokmat and daily Tarun Bharat and in a news portal Garja Maharashtra News. He has made many documentaries and short films. He also attended, read and published many research articles in many national and International conferences.
