We are happy to place before the teaching and student community our book FUNDAMENTALS OF BUSINESS ACCOUNDING for the first semester of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). The book is written as per the syllabus recommended and framed by the CURRICULUM DRAFT COMMITTEE FOR COMMERCE AND MANAGEMENT in Karnataka, for the implementation of the NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL POLICY, 2020.
Effort has been made to explain the complicated subject (Accountancy) in as simple a language as possible. Sufficient number of illustrations, graded properly to help the students understand the subject matter have been worked out. Further, exercises are given at the end of each chapter for the students to answer the questions and solve the problems. It is essential for the students to know that Accountancy can be learnt only by practice. The students are therefore advised to solve the problems given in the exercises at the end of each chapter.
