The next eight chapters (Chapters 2-9) independently, deal with endocrinology of major Metazoan phyla, viz., Coelenterata to Echinodermata. Account on endocrinology in each Chapter is divided into three sections −(a) the structure of the endocrine system, (b) hormones and (c) functions.
