It gives me immunse pleasure to present this First Edition of “Media Studies”to the teachers and students of BAMMC Second Year. In this addition, the subject matter in all the chapters is divided and adjusted in a logical manner. The objective of this subject as per university of Mumbai guidlines is to provide an understanding of media theories- to understand the relationship of media with culture and soceity, and to understand Media Studies in the context of trends in Global Media.
