National Service Scheme (NSS) (Mumbai Univ)

Dr. Karbhari Bhalchandra Kashinath (MA, M.Phil, Ph.D., NET, LLB)
Currently working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Business Economics at Akbar Peerbhoy College, Mumbai, with 14 years of UG/PG teaching experience. His area of specialisation is Indian Economy, International Economics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Public Finance. He holds a Ph.D. on “A Study of Carbon Credits As A New Source Of Revenue To Municipal Corporations” and an M.Phil. on “A Study of Organised Retail Stores And Customers In Fast Moving Consumer Goods Sector.” He has published and presented research articles in National and International conferences, peer-reviewed journals, UGC care listed journals and in journals powered by Scopus. He has developed content for the courses like BA, B.Com. and M.Com. for University of Mumbai (IDOL) and S.N.D.T. Distance Education in the subject of Research Methodology and Business Economics. He is also writing content in “Marathi Vishwakosh”. He is invited as a resource person for HRDC refresher courses, national conferences, guest talks, bridge courses and serves as a subject expert in Economics for selection committees. He is a member of Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Arthashastra Parishad and the Bombay Stock Exchange Brokers Forum (Mumbai). He has been appointed as an NSS Program Officer from 2018 and actively participated in various state level camps. He runs the YouTube channel ‘bknomics’ on economics.

Dr. Kirtikumar R. Pimpliskar, is working as Associate Professor in the Department of English at Anjuman-I-Islam’s Akbar Peerbhoy College of Commerce and Economics, M. S. Ali Road, Grant Road, Mumbai. He has done MA, NET and Ph.D. in the subject of English from the University of Mumbai. He has been teaching English for undergraduate level for over 17 years. He has worked as NSS Programme Officer from 2009 to 2019. He was also appointed as Area co-ordinator for South Mumbai region for three years (2015–16 to 2017–18) by NSS Cell, University of Mumbai. He has contributed chapters in books published by reputed publishers. He has presented several research papers in National and International seminars and conferences as well as published many research papers in UGC care listed and Peer-Reviewed Journals.

Dr. S. B. Manoorkar (MA Eng. B.Ed. SET, Ph.D.) is currently an Assistant Professor of English at Lal Bahadur Shastri Mahavidyalaya, Dharmabad, Dist. Nanded. He has 10 years of teaching experience. His research interest includes “Indian English Drama and British Literature”. He has presented a good number of research papers in National and International seminars and conferences. He has been awarded Ph.D. in English on the topic, “Art and Technique in the Plays of Mahesh Dattani: A Critical Study” by S.R.T.M. University, Nanded. He has been teaching English Language and Literature at Under Graduate Level since 2014. Apart from this, he has developed content for the course Integrated Skills in English-I of Distance Mode Education of Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad wherein, his two chapters are published in a book with ISBN number. He has also developed content of four chapters for the textbook, PANORAMA, which is prepared as per CBCS pattern for college students of UG Second Year Additional English prescribed by S.R.T.M. University, Nanded. He has been appointed as NSS Programme Officer in the academic year 2021–22 by the college authority. Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded has appointed him as "Area Co-ordinator" in the academic year 2022–23. Under his valuable guidance and effective leadership 2 NSS volunteers have selected for National Republic Day Parade Camp at New Delhi consecutively for two years (2021–22 and 2022–23). He has been awarded "Best Team Manager Award" at State Level Camp ‘UTKARSH’ organised by K.B.C.N.M. University, Jalgaon.
