“Organisation Structure and Personnel Management” has been drawn from Organisation Theory, Organisation Behaviour, Human Resource Management and Strategic Management courses. Therefore, it would be difficult for the students to draw necessary information from multiple sources. Against this background, an attempt has been made to consolidate the information from any books on “Essentials of Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations”, “Management and Organisation Behaviour” and “Business Policy and Strategic Management” to present information based on the syllabus of “Organisation Structure and Personnel Management” of J.N.T.U University, Hyderabad.
