The existing discourse on human right is dynamic and ever evolving. In this book, the predominant idea is to put forth the sociological standpoint of human rights which draws ideas from the shared vulnerability by the marginalized section of the society. The themes and issues covered in individual chapters revolves around mapping different context, aspects and broad parameters of human rights and its engagement with social and non-social domain in the tribal society. The book aims to establish various critical understanding into mechanisms, institutions, processes and social phenomena vis-a-vis social policy and development of the tribes in South Gujarat.
