While this text enters into 25th silver jubilee Edition in nearly even number of years besides several reprints evidencing immense acceptance of the text by its readers, I am perplexed to realize that every edition has been virtually neccessitated because of regular changes in the course syllabus. Those deciding on the topics of study and regular alterations, deletions and additions thereto, seem to have their reasons, but whetherrational or not is debatable.

It is heartening to note that my concern shown in my preface to 24th edition of this text relating to the study of Law of Contract minus topics on performance of Contracts, Discharge of Contracts and Consequences on Breach of Contract have been partly addressed as topics on performance of Contract, Discharge of Contract and Consequences on Breach of Contract are now included in the syllabus. However, study of Law of Sale of Goods has not been improved upon, though E-Contracts is now a part of Syllabus, which is appreciable.

I have therefore included a seperate chapter in topic to the Law of Contract on E-Contracts and also incorporated chapters on performance of COntracts, Modes of Discharge of Contracts and Breach of Contracts-Consequences and Remedies.Under Law of Sale of Goods, suits for Breach of Contracts and Auction sales continue in this edition as in the previous edition for study of such topics can only complete the study on Law of Sale of Goods.
