Engineering Physics

The book entitled “Engineering Physics” for I/II semester B.E., is written in accordance with Visveshwaraiah Technological University (V.T.U.) syllabus and its norms. Although hundreds of reference books are available, a fresh student studying in a short duration semester course finds it difficult to read them and at the same time, such books are not within the reach of the students of both the city and rural colleges. There is a need of a textbook with adequate description of the topics covered in the syllabus of engineering physics. This textbook is an attempt to meet the requirements of I/II Semester B.E. students of V.T.U.
The necessary description of basic principles along with figures are provided for a clear understanding of the topics. “Points to be remembered” provided in each chapter enable the students to get a bird`s eye view of the entire chapter. Worked problems, Exercises, Question pattern, V.T.U. Question papers and Engineering Physics lab Viva-Voce questions pattern and answers are additional inclusions for the benefit of the students.
