In this edition a thorough revision has been made and the subject matter has been rearranged to make a more logical presentation. The semiconductors are widely used in Electronic circuits, but we have not totally discarded the vacuum tube devieds till date. Due to this reason physicists in most part of our country still like to teach Electronic circuits with both these devices. In this text the attempts have been made to fulfil the need of those persons.
The chapter Semiconductor Devices has thus been completely rewritten and enlarged. The chapters on Rectifiers and Amplifiers have been revised and the semicounductor ciruits have been liberally included. A large number of solved and unsolved problems have been included at the end of each chapter.
