The book Zoo Diversity: A Study of Rajnandgaon-Kabirdham District, Chhattisgarh (India) is an outcome of a field based research and secondary data available as first census on wild life carried out by the forest department of Rajnandgaon Forest Division. Being an interdisciplinary research work, it uses methods of both sciences–Geography and Zoology. Its main highlights are conceptual aspects (e.g., diversity, uniformity, evenness, and richness), methods of calculating diversity, classification of chordates, spatial distribution of nature of Zoo Diversity and correlation and regression analysis. Although less voluminous in size, its organizational layout and interpretational style will be of immense use for both the new researchers and students of higher education. It is, therefore, expected to fill the gap in the area of reference book and prove its utility.
