Problems, both solved and unsolved are so arranged in the book that readers will encounter more and more challenging problems when they proceed with a chapter. Necessary theory has also been adequately deal with at the beginning of each chapter . Use of S.I. Units has been made, wherever necessary.
This book is an attempt made by the authors to help students in understanding the technique of solving problems. It is rather unfortunate that many students consider Physical Chemistry a difficult subject because of the need to solve problems. If this misconception is removed, from the minds of students, one of the aims of the book would be fulfilled.
